bear you are my hero. Just walk right through the press just like you do to any challenges. Bears book The Kid Who Climbed Everest(in the U.S.) is the best i’ve ever read. His show Man vs. Wild(U.S.) is the best i’ve ever seen. Top that off with all his accoplishments I get the one of the greatest achievers who ever live(not to mention one of the toughest). His accoplishments are unbelievable. He just keeps coming up with new ways to excite us. Go Bear!!!

    Hi Bear,
You are truley amazing with what you do. Not many people who have a family would put themselves at risk to shows us the public how to survive and get back to our families if we were to get in to that situation!
What ever the press say about you, you are an incredible person ( i can see that even without meeting you!) The press over look what you have done in your life and only focus on the bad points!
Bear keep doing Man vs Wild/Born Survivor because us the public love it and I enjoy learning new techniques.
Don’t Listen to the press, it will blow over!
    All the Best

Hey Gryllsy!! Hope you dont mind me calling you that since we havent met? Just wanted to say G’Day and i love watching Man Vs Wild!!! It’s the first survival show i’ve seen that is realistic!!Being a keen camper in the Oz outback i can utilise a lot of your techniques.Luckily it hasn’t been a matter of life or death as you portray as i dont travel as lite as yourself!!!! I would also like to commend you on your research into every destination as it is that detail that differs you from any other program i’ve seen.
Thats it i’ve got it of my chest!!! All the best in your future endevours!!
